Financial Support from the Society for Mathematical Biology

The application process is closed. The winners will be announced on 13 April 2016.

Four grants of $750 each are available for PhD students, postdoctoral fellows or junior faculty (untenured, <=6 years since PhD) to partially cover their expenses for participation in the Biomath 2016 conference in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.


To apply for financial support, first please make sure that you submit your Title and Abstract at the Biomath 2016 website: here. Next, please download and complete the Biomath 2016 financial aid application form: MS word file format. The following documents

should be submitted, as attachments in a single e-mail, to roumen.anguelov@up.ac.za. Please put “FINANCIAL AID REQUEST: Biomath 2016” in the subject line of your e-mail.
