Welcome to Biomath 2015-S (Pretoria)

This international conference is a satellite conference to the conference Biomath 2015 (Bulgaria).

The coference is hosted by the University of Pretoria, South Africa, from 12 to 17 July 2015.

The Biomath conferences are devoted to recent research in life sciences based on applications of mathematics as well as mathematics applied to or motivated by biological studies. It is a multidisciplinary meeting forum for researchers who develop and apply mathematical and computational tools to the study of phenomena in the broad fields of biology, ecology, medicine, biotechnology, bioengineering, environmental science, etc. .

The Satellite Conference is organised by the NRF/DST SARChI Chair in Mathematical Methods and Models in Bioengineering and Biosciences in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. It is supported by biological sciences departments at the Univerty of Pretoria as well as other research centeres including DST/NRF SARChI Chair in Sustainable Malaria Control, The Mammal Research Institute, the South African Wildlife Station in Skukuza and the National Zoological Garden.
